FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?
My work is described as fun, creative, clean, bright, full of emotion and life. I create artistry that’s fun, exciting and emotional. During outdoor sessions, we create organic, natural, and sentimental images with a fine art quality. I combine traditional and documentary photography along with family portraiture to capture genuine images for you to treasure for a lifetime. Imagine your family as fine art.
As your photographer, we will provide a generous gallery of images that can be displayed in your home as pieces of art or archived in a custom album to be treasured for generations. These photographs will be an investment in your family history. Images from your session often tell a story, capturing a treasured moment in time. I do not try to make you look perfect, stiff, or unnatural. I'm are not after that "one" shot with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. Sure, I may get some with everyone looking and smiling, but I promise if we do, it will be because it happened naturally, not because it was forced.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I am based out of Palm Beach county in sunny South Florida.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?
You have a few options. I enjoy using natural light, on location at some of the amazing parks and beaches South Florida has to offer. Together we will choose the perfect location for your session. When shooting outdoors, I normally don't use any special lighting equipment, unless some added light is needed for a certain shot. Newborn sessions are held at your home or in my home studio using natural light or studio lights. Other sessions, you have you choice of on location, in your home, or at the studio.
WHEN DO NEWBORN SESSIONS OCCUR?
I like to do newborn sessions within the first two weeks of life but they can be older. Just means there will be different photos taken depending on their age.
DO YOU HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?
Yes, unfortunately. Taxes are not fun but they must be paid, even for photography. I wish it were different but at the end of the year, I have to pay taxes just like everyone else. In Palm Beach County taxes are 7% and will be added to all prices.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
Yes, I do. For more local weddings and photography sessions, travel is free within 60 miles from my residence (zip code 33474). Anything farther than 60 miles is subject to a charge of $0.50 per mile round-trip from my residence.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Be comfortable, be yourself. If you need suggestions I’m here to help but these photos are supposed to reflect you and your style.
HOW FAR OUT ARE YOU BOOKED?
I typically book one to three months in advance. If you are interested in newborn portraits, please inquire while you are pregnant. Already delivered? No problem. I try to leave openings in my schedule for last minute newborn sessions.
WILL I GET MY DIGITAL PHOTOS AFTER THE SHOOT?
Photographs grow in value over time and become family treasures. We know the importance of archiving and saving digital images. We offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you receive all the high resolution digital files delivered via direct download and a print release. A minimum of 75 digitals files will be available to you (but usually there are more!), in both color and black and white. We also include a complimentary, predesigned album from your session. You will also have the option to buy additional prints and boutique products.
WHEN, HOW AND WHERE CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND PRODUCTS?
Within four weeks (usually much sooner) of your shoot, you will receive a link to a private online gallery. You will have one month to order additional products.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES IN MY GALLERY FROM OUR SHOOT?
I look carefully at each and every image I captured at your session and hand select the best images. I guarantee a certain minimum with each package. My all inclusive package will include at least 75 images, but there are usually many more included. Lucky you!st time you were visiting the site, you’d understand your answer.
WHO CAN ACCESS MY ACCOUNT?
All galleries are password protected. Anyone that has the gallery link and password can view the gallery, so feel free to share among your friends, family and even social media accounts.
DO YOU PROVIDE PERSONAL PRINTING RIGHTS?
Absolutely. This allows you to print as many photos as you want, as many times as you’d like, without restriction. I still own the copyright to the images, but you will get personal printing rights. I don't advise bring your images just anywhere for printing and especially avoid drug/grocery stores for printing. The colors, quality, editing and cropping is completely lost at low end bulk printers.
CAN I ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
Yes, ABSOLUTELY and I highly encourage you to do so. Your photos will be printed at the nation’s premier print lab and look so darn pretty! A huge difference can be noticed than, say, getting your pictures printed at Costco or Walgreen’s due to elements like the paper quality, the print machine itself, and professional TLC! The best news is that prints are competitively priced, so you’ll be well taken care of and it’s easy! The prints and products will be delivered to you in less than a week!
DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?
Yes; mini-sessions are offered once or twice a year. I don't do many mini sessions because I want to deliver you a collection of images for lifelong appreciation rather than one great shot.
HOW MUCH DOES ALL OF THIS COST?
My packages are for all different budgets. My all-inclusive package is the best value and package. You pay one price for ALL of the digital files and receive a photo book of your session.. Total cost is depends on the session please inquiry. A $50 deposit is due when booking to secure your session date.
